Building the Right Service Mix
Most facilities need more than one service, and the mix changes with the building.
- Daily upkeep: nightly janitorial handles the full clean after hours, and day porters keep high-traffic areas presentable while people are in the building. Many sites use both.
- Periodic work: carpet, tile and grout, window and upholstery cleaning are usually scheduled around slower periods, such as weekends or school breaks.
- Project work: post-construction cleaning and parking structure pressure washing are tied to a project or a season rather than a daily schedule.
- Verification: ATP testing gives you a measured check on cleaning results instead of relying on how surfaces look.
