The Three-Step Staffing Process
Your HR managers define the role
Your team decides what the role requires and how long you need it, then shares those needs with 6 Log. This is where you tell us the facility type, the shift and anything specific to your site.
6 Log recruits, screens and interviews
Based on your specifications, 6 Log handles job postings, resume reviews and initial interviews. We present you with qualified candidates who match the profile, so you are not sorting through stacks of applications.
Your organization makes the selection
You choose the person who fits the role. You can bring them on for a temporary assignment or a long-term placement, depending on what you need.
Two Delivery Models
The three steps describe how we find people. The delivery model decides how they work for you, who manages them day to day, and whether they can end up on your payroll. Pick the one that matches how involved you want to be.
Lease-to-Hire / Temp-to-Hire
You get specialized staff without the HR burden, with the option to transition them to full-time. It works well when you want to evaluate someone on the job before committing. More on lease-to-hire
Permanent Management Team
A dedicated team that 6 Log directly manages for your daily cleaning and infection prevention needs. It suits facilities that want consistent coverage without supervising the team themselves. More on the management team
What to Have Ready Before You Call
A first call goes faster when you have answers to these:
- Role: day porter, nightly janitorial, EVS, OR turnover, kitchen, or something else.
- Duration: a short assignment, a seasonal gap, an open-ended need, or a trial toward a permanent hire.
- Shift: days, evenings, overnight or weekends, and the hours you need covered.
- Facility type: hospital or surgical center, school or university, office, food production, or other.
- Number of staff: how many people, and whether that changes by day or season.
- Start date: when you need someone in the building.
If you do not have every answer, call anyway. We can work through it together.
Why Facilities Use Staffing Instead of Direct Hiring
Staffing through 6 Log can help you:
- Prevent work overload when a permanent staff member is out, such as on maternity leave.
- Decrease costs tied to hiring in-house, including benefits, payroll taxes and unemployment claims. When an assignment ends, we work to keep temporary staff employed, which helps protect you from future claims.
- Save time by working from pre-screened candidates instead of sorting resumes.
- Evaluate before committing by seeing how someone performs on the job.
- Expand access to talent with skills your own recruiting may not reach.
- Pay only for hours worked, and scale up or down without long-term contracts.
Common Reasons Facilities Call
Most staffing requests start with one of a few situations:
- A gap in coverage. A staff member is on leave, a position is open, or someone left without notice. Temporary staff can cover the gap while you decide what comes next.
- A seasonal or project surge. Schools preparing for a new term, a building after a renovation, or a facility with a busy season may need extra hands for a set period.
- A trial before hiring. You want to see how someone performs before adding them to your payroll. Lease-to-hire gives you that window.
- A shift in how cleaning is managed. You would rather not supervise cleaning staff in-house, and a Permanent Management Team makes more sense.
Tell us which one sounds like you. It shapes which model we recommend.
Where Staff Can Be Placed
6 Log places staff across the services we provide, including nightly janitorial, day porters, operating room turnover support and commercial kitchen cleaning. We serve healthcare facilities, schools and universities, corporate offices and food production across Colorado, focused on the Denver metro.
